Pricing and Quotes
What does "$65 off your first service" cover?
It comes straight off the invoice on your first job with us, whatever the drain issue turns out to be. There is no fine print attached and no minimum spend to unlock it.
Do you charge a call-out fee?
No, there is no call-out fee. You pay for the fix, not the visit, so having someone assess the drain costs you nothing upfront.
Can the price change once you start?
No. The figure you agree to before work begins is the figure on the invoice, with nothing bolted on afterward. If the job turns out bigger than first thought, that gets discussed and re-priced before any extra work starts.
How do I pay?
Payment is settled once the job is done and you are happy with it, on site with the plumber who did the work. The price is confirmed with you before anything starts, so there is nothing to negotiate at the end.

Licensed, Insured and Guaranteed
Can I clear a blocked drain myself?
A plunger on a single slow fixture is worth a try. Chemical cleaners and hired electric eels can crack old earthenware or push the blockage further down the line, and if it keeps coming back a licensed plumber needs to work out why.
How experienced are you with drains?
15+ years' experience, most of it on Sydney's older drainage stock rather than new-build estates. That includes plenty of jobs on the earthenware and clay pipe this suburb still runs on.
What does the lifetime labour warranty cover?
Our workmanship, for as long as you own the property. If something we fixed lets go later, we come back and put it right at no extra cost.
Is your work guaranteed?
Yes, under the quality workmanship guarantee. Every job is tested before we pack up, not just declared finished and left.

How Fast We Get to You
What counts as a drain emergency?
Sewage rising back through a floor waste or shower, a toilet that will not stop overflowing, or every fixture in the home slowing down together. Any of those jumps the queue and gets treated as urgent.
How do I book?
Ring (02) 9134 9097 and talk it through with the person answering, who can usually book you a time straight away. There is no online booking form standing between you and a plumber.
Are you really open 24 hours?
Yes, genuinely, not a recorded message pointing you elsewhere. A real person answers whatever time you call, and same-day service follows for most Lilyfield jobs.
What happens after I call?
We talk through what the drain is doing and book you a time that suits. On arrival we diagnose the fault honestly before any tool comes off the van, then agree the price.

Local Answers for Lilyfield
Why do older Lilyfield homes keep getting blockages?
Plenty of the suburb's cottages and semis still run on the original clay and earthenware pipe laid before the light rail or the newer infill went in. That pipe joins with mortar rather than modern seals, which gives roots and ground movement somewhere to get in.
Why do tree roots block so many Lilyfield drains?
Mature trees along the older streets and around the foreshore parks send roots searching for moisture, and a hairline gap in an aged clay joint is exactly what they find. A root that gets in does not stop there, it thickens every season and narrows the pipe until the flow finally gives out.
How local are you, really?
This part of the Inner West, out past Leichhardt Park and the Aquatic Centre, sits on our regular run most weeks. We are not despatched in from across Sydney; the work is already here.
Who is responsible for a blocked sewer, me or Sydney Water?
As a general rule, the property owner is responsible for the private drainage up to the point it connects to the main, and Sydney Water looks after everything from there. This is a starting guide rather than legal advice, so check your specific situation if it is unclear.
